The Elder Scrolls 'The Ultimate Journey' - Music Compilation

Some GMs will play Lord of the Rings music while prepping or playing a fantasy adventure game at the table. As for me, I'll play The Elder Scrolls music. Often times, it will bleed into any sci-fi adventure game I'm involved with as well, if I don't have any Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander music around.





Old Apps Still Work


Another Vue Render of my Traveller Free Trader model. Pretty much 100% with no postwork. No reason to upgrade the software, which is ten years old by now. My 3D modeling software is over fifteen years old. No reason to upgrade that either.

Maybe Windows 10.9x will break things though. We will see.

Theater of the Mind is No Excuse to Just Fake It

The topic came up over on therpgsite.com about using minis or using "theater of the mind", especially during combat. For my games, where we use Mongoose Traveller, it's strictly role-playing in our heads only. No maps, no minis, no initiative, no combat rounds. Actions happen in real-time.

Twilight: 2000 Roleplaying in the World War III That Never Was



Free League Publishing has announced a new edition of the classic role-playing game ​Twilight: 2000, in partnership with Game Designers’ Workshop and Amargosa Press. The new edition goes back to the roots of the franchise with a boxed set for sandbox role-playing in the devastation of World War III. It will come to Kickstarter in August, to be released in early 2021.
