More Details Added

Started on the smoke and burn effects for the Free Trader. Still more fiddly bits to add.

Two Free Trader Renders

Trying out two render styles for a scene. Can't decide which one I like better.

Hidden in Clouds

A Free Trader doing some Scout work maybe? Or looking for a hiding place? Hard to say with this render.

Traveller RPG Inner City (building jam)

Took awhile to get the buildings to randomly fall where I wanted them to. Kept fussing over their heights and sizes, etc, while keeping them from blocking the lighting and my camera.

Free Trader 12 Near World

Felt like doing a '70s render. I remember when Journey to the Far Side of the Sun was before its time. And of course, 2001: A Space Odyssey was. Star Wars would show up ten years later. Now everything is expected to be shot in 100% CG. Once in a blue moon though, models are still built for movies. Much of the fans still make models of their favorite movie ships for display at convention art shows.

Modeled in Hexagon 1.21.
Painted in 3D-Coat 4.7.
Rendered in Vue 9.5 Infinite.
